Abox owned and occupied their building in Forney, Texas since 2006. An affiliate of Gault Company has owned the adjacent multi-tenant industrial building since 2021, and ABox also leases space in that building. That landlord / tenant relationship led to discussions between Gault Company and Abox, resulting in an agreement for an affiliate of Gault Company to acquire the Abox building. Abox agreed to sign a 12-year lease agreement to remain in the building as a tenant.
This agreement allowed ABox to sell their real estate asset, and utilize those funds to expand their business. The new landlord entity was able to add a new asset to the Gault Company portfolio with a well-established tenant and a solid operating history.
